If you’re one of those people who doesn’t have Internet on your phone but you have texting, and you want to update your status and get friends updates on your mobile. Then this one is for you.

1. On your Facebook(FB) home page, put your mouse over the “Settings” button(located in the top right corner). Select “Account Settings” from the drop down menu.

2. Select “Mobile” from the tabs.

3. Select “Register for Facebook Mobile Texts” (inside red circle)

(if you want more info. select the Go to Facebook Mobile which I highlighted with a blue circle.)

4. Choose a country and your carrier. Select Next

5. Using your mobile phone, send a text message containing only the letter “f” (without quotes) to 32665 (FBOOK). Select Next

6.  Enter Code that is texted back to you.Then select “Confirm” (Notice the check box, If you want your number on your profile check the box, if not uncheck it.)

7. On the next page you’ll be given options to set up and manage your FB SMS.

You are now set to go.

To subscribe to someone’s or a group’s updates go to their page and select “Subscribe via SMS” under their profile picture.
